Simple breakfast: Waffles

Breakfast is one of the most important meals of the day.  I like to think of my body as a car.  If I do not put the gas I need in it, well...it just stops.  This breakfast is simple but filling and full of flavor.  Peanut flour waffles (recipe from my friends book &/or blog:  Maria Emmerich) two eggs over easy and fruit.  These flavors really do expode.

There are a few healthier versions of flour.  These waffles are made with almond flour.
You can also use Sprouted Flour

The important thing is that you have breakfast.  These are just a few of my weekend breakfast I have before starting my day having some waffles and fruit.
The best part is you can make a batch and put them in the freezer.  Then on a day you are in a hurry, just stick them in the toaster, put some fruit on the or cook your fruit down in butter.  If all else fails, put the syrup of your choice but make sure you read lables.  If you do not know what it is and you see the secret words for sugar like:

High Fructose Corn Syrup
 Corn syrup
Sucrose
Barley Malt
Honey
Molasses
Mannitol
Cane juice crystals
 Cane sugar
 Caramel
  Corn syrup solids
 Carob syrup
 Dextran
 Dextrose
 Fructose
 Galactose
 Glucose
  Lactose
 Maltodextrin
 Maltose
 Malt syrup
 Sorbitol
  Treacle

I am sure there are more that I may have missed.  Just remember that sugar is the reason that many of us have the problems that we have.  Use a sugar that is safe and natural rather than all of those man made chemicals.
